We have a group of committed trustees who work together positively to support the charity. Our aim is always maintain a strong board to steer the organisation forwards, so we are always looking for quality people to support our work.
About our Trustees:
A trustee since 2010, long term association supporting youth work in the county, joined us after his year as High Sheriff of Hertfordshire.
Joined the Trustee Board in 2015, has lived with her family in the county for many years Laura brings her HR skills and experience to support the charity.
A trustee since 2010, a partner in a Hertfordshire Solicitors, bringing his legal expertise to support the charity.
Joined the Trustee board in 2015. She has many years of experience of community work in the health care profession and is keen be involved with Pro -Action as a volunteer and to support the young people of Hertfordshire
Roger Merton, MBE
Joined the trustee board in 2014, retired business man and trustee of London Youth for many years. He is chairman of Hoddesdon Football Club and was awarded the MBE in the 2014 New Year’s Honours for services to London Youth, Football and the community in Hertfordshire.
A trustee since 2012, a retired General Manager who was a trustee of the Diamond Jubilee Trust Fund, which Pro-Action inherited as part of the original merger between Hertfordshire Council for Voluntary Youth Services & Hertfordshire Association for Young People.
Our Treasurer since 2010, Siobhan took on the role of Chairman in January 2016. She is an accountant working in the county and has been a significant support in developing the financial structures within the charity.
Became a trustee in early 2014. Mandy recently retired as a youth worker with Youth Connexions and brings a wealth of experience from her career and also now as a voluntary leader in a member club.
Mandy joined us during 2014 and brings her financial knowledge and experience as a partner of Wilkins Kennedy LLP, based in Hertford.
