Carers in Hertfordshire are currently recruiting for these two positions:
Full time (37 hours)
Contract: 9 months (may be extended)
Salary: £20,344.39 FTE
Are you looking for a new challenge supporting young people to achieve their potential? Join us as a Young Carer Coordinator. You will support the team by taking referrals and holding a small caseload of families with emerging needs who need information and advice about local services. You will work with the administrator and a team of volunteers to ensure cases are regularly reviewed and young carers are offered appropriate support at key transitions. With experience there is potential to progress to become a Young Carer Support Advisor.
Closing date: Monday 7th September
Interview Date: Monday 14th September
Full time (37 hours) Part time hours will be considered.
Salary: £22,269.37 FTE (37 hours)
Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential? Join us as a Young Carer Support Advisor. You will build strong relationships with professionals across a range of services, including schools, in a geographical area to improve understanding and support for young carers and their families. You will hold a caseload of young carers and their families and work with them, to reduce age inappropriate caring and help them to have all the same opportunities as their peers. Some families will need very little support whilst for others you will need to lead a team around the family to ensure they receive the help they need.
Closing date: Monday 7th September, 9am
Interview Date: Monday 14th September.
