Phase

Our vision here at Phase is to work alongside young people in Hitchin to promote wellbeing and resilience.

Growing up is full of challenges and hard decisions. Phase exists to support the development of wellbeing in young people. We want to be there for young people, to provide support, encouragement and help equip them for the future.

We believe in diversity, and so we want our work to reflect the variety of young people we meet.

Our motivation and passion is built on our Christian values. We create supportive and inspiring programmes which are open to all. We want to create spaces to help all young people to explore, belong and contribute in all areas of their lives.

Herts Sports Partnership

Herts Sports and Physical Wellbeing Partnership

The HSP team works alongside numerous partners from the public, private and voluntary sectors, bringing together expertise, resources and ideas from all parts of the sports, health and physical activity arena in Hertfordshire and beyond.

"Working together to encourage more people to be more active more often"

Herts Sports Partnership does what its title says - brings together anyone and everyone involved in sport across Hertfordshire, thats over 2500 clubs and societies in a wide range of sports activity. We work closely with them in the area of training, so part of our core skills grant is used to support volunteers in sports clubs. HSP promote the benefit of small clubs belonging to Pro-Action. We value our relationship with the team at HSP.

One of the recent activites that has come out of our working together is the YAMA Festival, read all about that elsewhere on the website.

With seven Activity Centres throughout the UK that include an old Railway Station in Scotland and a Farmhouse in Wales, each of Hertfordshire Scouts’ Activity Centres offer something a little different to all users, from the opportunity to try challenging activities such as High Ropes, Archery or a Revolving Climbing Wall to the chance to sail on Loch Earn or explore the surrounding Scottish hills.

Hertfordshire Music Service

Hertfordshire Music Service is one of the largest Local Authority music services in the country with over 560 instrumental & vocal teachers teaching over 25,000 children in schools and music centres across the county and is proud to be Lead Partner for the Hertfordshire Music Education Hub.

Five strategic strands will drive musical activity across the county's schools, music centres, other community settings and on-line. By creating a diverse range of opportunities with our partners across these settings and with a portfolio of fully traded, co-funded and fully funded programmes we are able to maximise our impact on the musical lives of children and young people in Hertfordshire.

Working closely with HMS’s Head of Participation and Inclusion, we look to create opportunities for music to be included in youth activities and programmes in the county.
